Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating a Dewy account or using any part of the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Dewy.
2. The service
Dewy is an AI-assisted plant care companion. Diagnoses and recommendations are generated by machine learning models and are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not professional horticultural, veterinary, or medical advice. See our AI Disclosure.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account. Sign-in uses email magic links — keep access to your inbox secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of photos, notes, and care logs you upload. You grant Dewy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display this content for the purpose of operating the service, including sending it to AI providers for diagnosis. We do not sell your content. You can export or delete it at any time from your profile.
5. Acceptable use
Don't upload content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or attempts to compromise the service. Don't use the service to generate harmful, deceptive, or high-stakes advice (medical, legal, financial) — that is not what Dewy is for.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Plant outcomes depend on many factors outside our model's awareness. Dewy does not guarantee any specific recovery, growth, or health result.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dewy and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including any harm to plants, pets, or property.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes bump the version above and trigger a re-acceptance prompt at next sign-in.
